How To Lose 40 Pounds In One Month

123I was having a conversation just the other day and the person I was speaking with asked me if I thought it was possible to lose 40 pounds in only one month, and if so, how could she do it. After I gave her a valid response, I figured I go ahead and spread the word online as well. So here it is.

Before I get into the details of the method, I first want to suggest that if you are planning on losing 40 pounds, give yourself more than a month to reach your goal. To accomplish this in a month, it’s going to takes some drastic measures and extreme efforts on your part. You must be aware that in order to drop 40 pounds in just 30 days, you will have to create and maintain a massive calorie deficit, which isn’t easy. This can be accomplished in two ways:

  1. Use a detox diet– This is essentially a “cleanse” of the body that functions as method of ridding it of toxins and fats, creating for you a calorie deficit. Various manners of going about this diet exist, some of which include drinking a lot of fluids, usually water and fresh fruit juice. This type of diet flushes your system and helps to stave your hunger so that you do not feel the need to eat the calories that you are trying to avoid. You must remain aware, however, that this is not the most healthy diet method to practice, especially for a long period of time, which could do detrimental harm to your body through a loss of essential nutrients.ваир
  2. Work off excess calories. It’s that simple. If you expend more calories than you eat, you will lose weight. However, to lose 40 pounds in one month is an extreme. Therefore, you will have to implement a lot of cardio into your routine (at least 4 hours each week) and also do strength training. For this goal though, cardio is key. You will not be building muscle tissue this month, you will only be losing weight. If you do enough cardiovascular workouts, and eat in moderation (a lot of vegetables and fruit and cut out carbs), you may be able to lose 40 pounds in one month. Just keep in mind the extensive effort required on your part.31

As I said at the beginning of this article, it is possible for this extreme weight loss feat, but it takes hard work and determination on your part in order to make it happen.
